Plantation-era Hawaiian slang. Back during the plantation days in Hawai'i, workers used the slang "shnacks" to describe the food they craved when they were drunk and high — indulgent, unfiltered, purely about satisfying the moment.

The Beginning
Mark'D started his professional career as a sports nutritional chef with the Denver Broncos — fueling elite athletes and forging the discipline, precision, and performance-driven mindset that would define everything to come.
The World
From Denver, Mark'D traveled abroad — learning and creating in different parts of the world. Every culture, every street, every craft added a new layer. Global influence, local soul.
Coming Home
Mark'D returned home and began building — sharpening the blade, perfecting the vision, laying the groundwork for something bigger than food, bigger than fashion.
SHNAX Is Born
On 4-20-2020, in the middle of Covid, Shnax was born on Oahu, Hawai'i. While the world shut down, Shnax opened up. A holistic brand rooted in culture, craft, and community.
